R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

Cltcl_250x188i'm having a blast in my small group!  i don't know how else to say it - i just really think we have been enjoying our time together and tonight was one of those examples.  we have been using the big idea in our small group which means tonight we are in the series crazy little thing called love and we talked about crazy cycle.  the cycle we discussed comes from ephesians 5:33 where it teaches us about men's need for respect from their spouse and women's need for love from their spouse.

anyway, awesome and fun(ny) discussion - but we decided as a group to take on the "what's next?" challenge - doing 3 acts of kindness for our spouses without expecting anything in return.  so i need some ideas, what should i do to show my wife love over the next 7 days?

Earn some Vitality Points all by yourself!

Back rubs and foot massages. The key though is to do it without being asked (that's the part where I usually fail).

Rent a romantic comedy instead of your usual vampire or violent movie. (Wait, she likes those too!)

thanks everyone for your ideas - i decided to implement them all and pay for erin to get a pedicure, manicure, massage, ... ok, i didn't anything! other than the usual awesome husband stuff i do ;) i was way too busy and too tired to pull off 3 things - lame!! maybe i can try something this week??

Since we have moved into the new house there is tons of stuff to do.

So, I have decided to just do all the things Christine wants to do around the house. For anyone who knows my wife you know that this is the stuff she loves!!

Christine just had her birthday so we made sure she got things that reflect the things she likes - functional but nice!
