i know you would expect to hear that from the small groups champion (fancy title eh?) but i really mean it! we are laughing together more, sharing waaaay more, praying more, taking action more, and loving Jesus more - God has been extremely good to our small group.
last night we discussed patience (Big Idea, "Making Life Work: Proverbs") and it was really funny to hear everyone's stories about how they have been tested. one of the questions asked if we had ever seen a child throw a temper tantrum in public. well, all of us in the group are parents - so we had some great stories about getting the "glad that's not my kid" look or the "do you feed your child caffiene pills?" look or "is your child the son of Satan??" look. i personally have never gotten any off those looks ;)
anyway, my small group rocks and i thank God for it.
And it's all because of that guy in your group who spits out really great one-liners all the time.
